Usagi and Mamoru: Their Story

*Anime Version of the Silver Millenium Attack*

        A thousand years ago was an era called the Silver Millenium. The universe was at peace. It was ruled by Queen Serenity who lived on the moon. The Moon Kingdom ruled over all the other planets during the Silver Millenium. One exception was the Negaverse. It was the inverse of the Moon Kingdom. The Negaverse was ruled by Queen Beryl and Metallia. They wanted to rule the whole universe.
        During a lunar eclipse, Queen Beryl brought her forces to the Moon Kingdom. The Moon Kingdom was quickly destroyed for the moon's warriors weren't anything compared to the Negaforce. Four girls, the princesses of their planets, tried their best to fight off the Negaverse warriors but they couldn't save the moon. The Prince of Earth, Endymion and Princess Serena, Queen Serenity's only daughter, had been in love, a forbidden love. Queen Beryl attacked Princess Serena, but Prince Endymion saved her from the attack. Queen Beryl asked Prince Endymion to be her King but he refused so she swept Prince Endymion into a tornado. Princess Serena jumped into the tornado with him so they could be together. Metallia hit them with an energy beam and they both died.
         Queen Serenity could not let the Negaverse win so she used the power of her Imperial Silver Crystal to send Queen Beryl and her warriors back to the Negaverse and also sent her daughter and her court of princesses a thousand years in the future, to present-day earth. Queen Serenity died to save her people and so the universe could live in peace again. Also, she knew that her daughter was destined to be the next queen of the universe. Before she died, she whispered, "On behalf of the moon, you will be free. Maybe we'll meet again, someday," to her people.

        A thousand years later, Serena is now a fourteen-year old girl living in Tokyo. She goes to a junior high school. She has many friends and family. On the way to school one day, she met a black cat. It started to talk and said its name was Luna. She said that her mission was to guide a group of warriors, called the "Sailor Scouts." Serena did not believe what Luna said so Luna told her to say," Moon Prism Power." When Serena did, it was hard not to believe what Luna said.
        Soon, they met up with the other scouts. First it was Sailor Mercury, which was Serena's friend, Amy. Then it was Sailor Mars, which was the one person Serena always argued with-Raye. After that, it was Sailor Jupiter. She happened to be the new girl at school, Lita. The last scout she reunited with was Sailor Venus, which was more known as Sailor V. Her name was Mina. They soon became fast friends. They began to fight the Negaverse with the help of Tuxedo Mask.
        It was when they had to find the Moon Princess when Serena and Darien finally had to reveal their true identities. Darien was Tuxedo Mask and Serena was Sailor Moon. They discovered that Serena was the moon princess. Serena and Darien finally recovered their friendship and fell in love again.
