Past Layouts

Please excuse the poor quality of some of the screenshots. Although we still retained the old images used for our past layouts, we neglected to keep the HTML documents that went along with it. In our half-hearted attempt to recreate the pages, we left out some scrollbar colors/requirements.

Version 11.0 *current*

Splash Layout

Devon decided to make a new layout to commemorate the site's move. A pinkish/lavendar/black layout! The background features the entire cast of senshi. The image of Usagi and Mamoru superimposes that. The theme of this layout is "unity" which is something that should be shared during the holiday season and around the year. ^_^

Version 10.0

Splash Layout

Devon decided to make a new layout that wasn't orange or earth tones. Having just finished watching the Japanese anime of season SS with Elios, she chose him as a subject for her next layout. As a result - a pretty blue layout! The background also features Chibi-Usa and Elios' kiss. The words actually do not fit the layout, but I used them for decoration. The words are Claudius' infamous lines in Shakespeare's Hamlet, "My words fly up, my thoughts remain below. Thoughts without words never to heaven go."

Version 9.0

Splash Layout

Devon was inspired by the colors and warmth of summer, therein choosing to make a bright yellow/green layout. The saying is a direct quotation from Robert Jordan's character Amys from the Wheel of Time series. The layout features Usagi, Chibi-Usa, Setsuna, Minako, Rei, and Ami.

Version 8.0

Splash Layout

Devon wanted to get into the festiveness of the holiday season, so she came up with a holiday season layout. This layout features Usagi, Chibi-Usa, and Tuxedo Mask blended with bows and other festive brushes. This layout also captures the simplicity and clarity of the winter season, with a plain background.

Version 7.0

Splash Layout

Devon took the advice of a site visitor and chose to make the newest layout with a purple scheme. The layout was originally going to be more of a periwinkle color, but it transformed to purple. This layout features Usagi and Mamoru - finally a layout comprised of one of those lovely embrace images! Also, the affiliates section was expanded to fit more affiliates, which our last layout didn't allow for. This layout was completed, created, and put up without the help of Blake's HTML expertise ^_^.

Version 6.0

Splash Layout

Devon decided to make a layout that was partially orange and yellow. For some reason, she really loves those colors. Devon had to work with the layout to allow for the use of an iframe. In any case, this layout was coded by Blake again, using divs and iframes. Also, a lot of the information was tranferred to a CSS stylesheet to make future layout changes a lot easier. Another pretty layout.

Version 5.0

Splash Layout

This time, we decided to branch in colors. Devon was obsessd with the color orange so the layout ended up being orange, as you can tell with all the orange related documents that seem to result from an over-active imagination. Despite that rather small fact, the layout itself is beautiful. Devon went for a creative type blend and Blake coded the layout with divs, tables, and an iframe. Oddly enough, adjustments had to be made to the blend before it could be put to use.

Version 4.0

Splash Layout

This layout's splash page also had an interesting filter effect. The layout itself wasn't entirely too bad. In actuality, it was quite acceptable but the image was just too boring and the title just looked out of place. Otherwise, there weren't any other problems. It was good layout while it lasted.

Version 3.0

Splash Layout

In this layout, we tried to go for some creative flair. The splash page had an interesting Javascript hover effect, however that can't be viewed through a screenshot. The rest of the layout was an attempt to use a lot of tables and div layers, along with an Iframe. Needless to say, the layout wasn't very intriguing and it was a pain to update concerning table height sizes. The color was also pretty horrible now that we think of it.

Version 2.0

Splash Layout
The Pop-Up Window

This was our first attempt at designing our own layout. It was an image map more or less with the updates on the dark blue box next to the image. The links opened up in a pop-up window, as linked above. The link however only includes the background image used for the pop-up since we lost the code. This layout wasn't very good at all but we seemed to think so at that time.

Version 1.0

Splash Layout

This was our first real layout made by Sea Goddess Graphics for DreamLight Destiny after our stint with GeoCities Pagebuilder and our old name Moonlight Destiny. It was a rather interesting layout but now that we look at it, it's rather lacking in creative flair, no offense to the person who made it for us.
