Setsuna is the guardian of time and she watches over the gates of time with her Garnet Orb. During the R season, Setsuna takes the form of Chibi-Usa's ball otherwise known as the Luna-P ball. She never really associates with the inner senshi. Setsuna is friends with Haruka and Michiru. She spends all of her time guarding the gate of time and keeps to herself. She attends university in the manga but in the anime, she has been out of school for almost a thousand years. Setsuna never plays much of a role in Sailor Moon but she does tell Usagi of the past in the R season. She also saves Michiru and Haruka later on. Setsuna does visit occasionally in the Sailor Stars season to oppose the Sailor Starlights.
