Mamoru is the oldest person in the senshi group. While just being a good friend of theirs, he is not a warrior like them. He is a good leader as he displays with the senshi when they need courage and hope. Mamoru was orphaned as a young child when his parents died in a car accident. He loses his memory for quite a time about what had happened. His only friend was Fiore, one of the aliens in Sailor Moon R Movie, and he served to save his friend in the end from the Kisenian flower. Mamoru lives alone in an apartment. He becomes Tuxedo Mask at times when the senshi need help. He uses his flowers and cane as weapons but usually motivates the senshi to win the battle. While Mamoru had amnesia, he became Tuxedo Knight, but after he regained his memory, he became Tuxedo Mask once more. Mamoru loves Usagi deeply as is shown throughout the season, despite any hardships that come between them (him being Evil Prince Endymion and serving Queen Beryl in the R season).
