Rei is prideful and has a fiery temper. She tends to think less in a situation and jumps right in without thinking. Rei attends a private Catholic school - the T*A Private Girls Academy, despite the fact that she is training to be a Shinto temple maiden at her grandfather's temple. Rei often yells at Usagi over the smallest things but only because they are such good friends. Rei helps Usagi in the final battle with Queen Beryl when Usagi just gives up when all the senshi died. She tells Usagi to get back up and fight to the end. Rei and Mamoru dated for a short time and Usagi was jealous of Rei. She stands behind Usagi however in the face of danger and is extremely loyal.
